So on Wednesday night August 6, 2008 my two sisters came down and visited me from Porterville and Colorado. So let me start by saying. These are my friends Xenia lives in Porterville and Nora lives in Colorado. Nora was in California on her vacation. So they decided to drive down from Central California. Well i had been talking to Nora earlier that day, and she had told me that they were not going to be able to come and hang out with me. So i was pretty bummed out. But i accepted the fact that they werent going to come, so i went on with my day. Around 11P.M i heard a voice coming from my window. It said "Jessica!, open the door". That voice scared me, so i listened (thinking it was my brother) and oh my Gosh!! it was my friends at the door. They drove down, barrowing money from others just to come and see me. I was so excited i could have cried. But then i realized i had a mess all over my room!! (i had taken the computer center apart) so there was all this wood all over the room. Anyways i was so excited they were here, and what did we do, well we chatted for a while and then before sleep decided to watch our favorite shows, The Office and Supernatural!! we had funnn!! So the following day my friend Nora wanted to go to Los Angeles and Hollywood. She had never been to Hollywood so i thought i would give her a tour!! So we bused our way around town. We started off by going to Los Angeles and the Placita Olvera, its a little Mexican village. Unfortunetly the heat was too much to take so we decided to make our way to Hollywood and go to the movies. So we made our way and decided to watch "the sisterhood of the traveling pants 2" we watched the movie at Graumans Chinese Theatre, oh my gosh i must say its such and awesome theatre, its spacious and the movie quality is great. its a little bit pricey but my friends and i said "how often are we in hollywood together" so we went ahead and saw the movie, it was awesome and great!! I must say we went to the Sephora store and had a blast!! make-up here make-up there make-up everywhere!! its a girls heaven in there!! i discovered the Urban Decay Loose Powder High Pigment eye shadow, it was sooo awesome,. but pricey!! but anyway i plan on buying some shades when i can!! lol. So after the day started cooling down, we decided to keep touring hollywood, and we walked and saw stars and all that good stuff!! We ended the night buy going to the IN&OUT thats on Sunset blvd!! classic!! We made our way home, and hung out and then fell asleep! The following morning my sisters had to leave, i was very sad and emotional! i dont know when ill get to see the both of them together again. The whole time we were hanging out, we kept on having flash backs to the days when we were room mates and all the fun times we had together! i had such a good time with the girls! i miss them already!

Random!!

So I was going through my photos on my camera. All the photos i have on there are taken so far this year! I have taken 763 pictures this year so far! Thats a whole lot of pictures. But some of them are duplicates with different color tones. Or some are duplicates with different features on them. So i decided to take five minutes and go through them and decided to choose five and blog a little story of each and everyone of the of the five that i post up. so here goes....

The first picture up at the top. Was taken sometime around June '08, when my friend/sister came down to los angeles and stayed awhile. Her goal while she was down here was to go all around los angeles and take awesome pictures. Which she totally did. So this picture was taken in the Los Angeles Union Station i took this picture practicing my photographer skills. i love this waterfall, i have been here a few times before but i had never really take the time to appreciate it!.

The second picture was actually taken on the same day the as the first one. My friend took this one. Its the book of Mormon on a bench. My friends goal was to make the place look abandoned like if someone was reading and then left and never returned. im sure the picture came out better on her camera, (being a professional camera and all) so yea these seats are located inside the los angeles union station. its were people wait for their trains to arrive.

The third picture was taken in the Griffith Observatory. So they have posted up this new exhibition of stars... its soooo awesome. there is this hall that takes you down to the museum and all along the lining of the walls are all these stars.. i love stars.. not celebrities... but the five sided stars.. . but i love how people donated their star brouches, earrings, rings, necklaces, and who knows what else.. it makes the walls stand out. and i love it!!

The fourth picture i chose to upload is one that i took while i was on vacation and a tourist in Puerto Vallart, Mexico. So all along the boardwalk, there are these sand artist who build sculptures out of sand. and everything looks so awesome.. but the one sculpture that caught my eye was these rocks. that were being piled ontop of eachother and at the top was a huge rock shaped like a heart. Wow huh. this rock is so huge. and its shaped like a heart, so even better.

The Final picture i wanted to post up. Is the one i too at the los angeles zoo. The Campbell Family was nice enough to invite me to the Zoo with them. I had a great time with everyone, and enjoyed seeing the animals for the first time. I love the giraffe. so to who ever is reading this. i would really like a giraffe pattern purse!! any ideas where i can purchase one.!! im on a budget remember that!! haha

so i took these pictures back in may 19th to be precise! i thought they came out pretty cool i love the blur effect that the camera creates when you turn off the flash. this is the second time i attempt these pictures. the other pictures that are not posted i took on the brigde over the ten freeway. but i cannot post them because those pictures are in my old broken computer. but these pictures were taken on the day i left los angeles to spend some time in porterville with my porterville family. and my friends dad took us to have dinner at king taco in los angeles. these images were taken off of the 710 freeway. we were on a bridge taking the photos. xenia and i had tons of fun shooting pictures while we were both on vacation. i went up north and she came down to los angeles. tons of fun!

having fun in L.A

well a while back my friend came down to los angeles and told me she wanted to go shooting pictures of the city and awesome stuff. so we decided that we would jump on the bus route that would take us every where we wanted to go. so we purchased the five dollar all day bus pass. and off we went. let me just state that the bus pass also works for the subway that takes you to hollywood. alright soo our first stop was the post office because we were sending our friend a jumbo birthday card which we decorated the interior with a collage of pictures from the fun times we had when we were all roommates in porterville. so we postmarked it and sent it out!. then we jumped on the bus and it took us all the way to down town. and we got off at the union station of L.A. and my friend went crazy taking pictures she loved it there. and we went around the union station to the front (alameda) entrance of the train station. and my friend loved it she was taking pictures like crazy! she went through soo many rolls of film. so after leaving the union station we walked all around down town and went to the base of the all those big tall buildings you can see off of the freeway!! it was so nice. we even got to hang out in the lunch area of one of the buildings. so my friend is totally in love with the US bank building in the middle of los angeles its the tallest building there. so we were litterally like a couple of feet from that building. she was in love. so she took alot of pictures there. and she even practiced when we went to the restroom. (she hung the bag she was using and hung her camera in front of it and thought it looked awesome so she took a picture of it!! ill post a picture) . so we got really tired in downtown los angeles because we walked from one side to the other. we even went to china town. it was awesome . we then decided to take the subway to hollywood. and we had so much fun! we had dinner at in and out. and we were in heaven. we then decided to head on home because it was getting dark and we wanted to be safe. so we finally got home and decided to watch the office. BTW my friend Xenia is hooked on the show now thanks to me!!!

Mi Birthday!!!

so on May 9th i turned 22!! wow i cant believe how fast time flies!! but yea im getting older!! so on May 3rd my friend took me to Disneyland and we had such a fun time. the complimentary tickets we got were park hoppers so we went to Disneys California adventure first. and i got over my fear of going on the tower of terror. WOW such a scary ride but i figure ive been on Goliath at six flags. so why not go on this ride. wow it was such a fun ride. i loved it. even though seconds before i went on it i was shakin' in my converse!! so yea. well my friend was kind enough to buy me the best birthday gift!! she got me the first and second season of the office on DVD... yay. so excited! and on my actual birthday my mom bought me the third season of the office!!!!!!!!! yay im so excited. i have all the seasons!! well now i need season four. but thats not out yet! but i will be the proud owner of it as soon as it comes out to the stores! so yea this was a little belated birthday blogs update! oh yea we had the best CHOCOLATE cake that we baked and decorated! it was such an awesome cake. and i must say my favorite birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s thank you kate for calling me!!!!!!!!!! i loved it!!

Im back... for almost a week now

hello to my valued readers! i much appreciate the time you spend reading my lame blogs. thanks. they are not as interesting as the ones with cute little babies on it. but im trying hard. so yes its monday night the night before April fools 2008. i have been back from Mexico, already for like a week. its so crazy if i could have it my way i would go on vacation and come back when i wanted just to say hi to my family. haha. soooo if anyone cares. my time in Mexico was soo much fun. first off the day i left los angeles i needed to wake up soo early to catch my flight. so ever since then i have been sleepy. :) so i went and stayed in Mexico for 25 days. what a vacation huh. thats way longer than i wanted to originally stay but then they told me that a week before i would come back there would be all kinds of awesome Catholic Church related activities. so i stayed longer. (well i purchased the roundtrip ticket with that date when i would come back) so yea. i made it safely to Puerto Vallarta and my moms sister was there at the airport waiting for me. i was soo tired and my luggage was soo heavy and the airport in Mexico is not like here. They dont have little carts for the luggage. unless you need a ride.. or something thats what i understood. soooo i had to carry my bags all the way to the luggage inspection. and they checked my bags.. so then i had to carry my bags all the way to the exit where i met my family. so we left the airport and headed over to a place where one of their cars had broken down from a four hour drive. . then we made our way to a tiny town called Mixtlan and thats where we stayed for the night, then the following morning we had breakfast and headed out to Ruiz, Nayarit, Mexico we finally got to my grandmothers house and i met my aunts and uncles and cousins that i had never met. i met all my cousins too everyone was nice except for my unlce (i dont wanna talk about it) .. haha. so i spent a week with my moms side of the family and then i made my way to my dads hometown. Tepic, Nayarit,Mexico. so my dads family wanted me to get there at a certain time on a sunday because thats when the WHOLE family reunites to have lunch. . so i finally got there and everyone was sooo excited to meet me.. but me i was excited too but i really didnt know anyone. and i didnt even know any of my cousins. so i was shy at first .. but little by little my family started warming up and they all really liked me. .. i got to visit many places one of my aunts took me to Guadalajara, Mexico. i enjoyed alot of time in Tepic i got to go to the Fair they were hosting alot of musicians showed up and played their crazy spanish music... it was soo much fun. my week with my dads family came to an end and i had to go back to my other grandma's house.. but ill tell you.. it was the hardest thing for me to do.. i cried my eyes out when i had to hug my family (my dads side of the family) i had to say by to my cousins and my aunts and even my little nephews. it was a really hard day for me. i saw my grandparents, aunts and uncles cry. but i really enjoyed my time with them and i now miss them and wish i could go back with them. so yea i went back to my other grandmas house and just passed the next few days packing and washing my clothes. . and then on sunday night i made sure all of my things were ready and went to sleep. on monday morning we made our way to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. we drove alot so i got to see alot of things i thought i would never get to see. around two in the afternoon we finally got there and we rented a hotel room. went up and rested for a while and then went to have lunch at a mexican restaurant. we ate and then went back to the hotel and rested and then got ready to party. haha.. we decided to go walk on the boardwalk thing.. and then i was talking with my aunt and all of a sudden someone pulls one my hair. and i turn around kinda mad. and it was my uncles from Tepic. (they work in Puerto Vallarta) it was my dads bro and my dads brother in law. and my cousins. so we got to talking and we exchanged phone numbers and decided that we would have lunch the next day. so they had to leave and go to the grocery store. me and my aunt decided to walk a while more. and she wanted to go drinking. so we went to a bar. it was a cuban bar and they had really good music. . i was bored because i really dont like spanish music unless i hear it alot. but it was funny looking at the people dance in weird ways. the thing i liked about the bar was that every single wall had writing on it and i got to write on it.. haha i have evidence. so then the night ended and i headed back to the hotel room and my aunt continued partying. and i stayed and slept.. the next day was cool but it was also the day i was going home.. my aunt and i woke up late so we got ready right before check out. then we went walking for a while and got to see everything we couldnt see in the night. we had breakfast at a macdonalds. cool huh. . after that we made our way towards the airport, when i got a call from my uncle (my dads brother) and he was wondering if were gonna go get lunch so we told him yes. so he told us where to meet him and we met him at a restaurant called el andariego.. (my uncle worked there he drywalled the restaurant..cool) oh my goodness.. they have the best seafood there.. my uncle ordered a HUGE plate of different seafood. it was soo good and we almost ate it all but it was alot of food. well we had to eat fast because the time for me to be at the airport was aproaching and we needed to make our way there. so we finished my uncle paid and then i had to hug him goodbye. i was so sad i wanted to cry but my tears formed but didnt leak out.haha. we made our way to the airport quickly i checked in and got my bags inspected and then i made my way to the securty screening.. i said goodbye to my aunt and her friend and i made my way in to the waiting area. i was soo sad that my vacation was finally over. but i wanted to come back and see my family and my little brothers.. . soo yea im back finally. :) thats my little story.

ahoy there me hearties!!

im soooo excited. im in MEXICO.. just chilling with my two families i have over here. lets see last week i was in Ruiz Nayarit.. thats the town were my mom was born and where her mom lives. and all of her sisters and stuff. and man, that little tiny town is sooooo HOT. wow i was sweating up a storm. it was fun times there. i got to meet all my cousins that i never met before. and wow there are alot. . lets see now im in Tepic Nayarit. this is were my dad was born and were he worked as a cop. wow.. yea. well in this town i met like a thousand other cousins that i have.. and man i thought i was the oldest female cousin but no there is my cousin ana who is a year older than me.. but my older brother is the oldest cousin of the whole group.. so we win..hahah.. well yea this town is way fresher than ruiz. but i like both towns because family lives in both of them so that make me happy.. and oh how the families miss my older brother and my mom and dad.. and they would really like to meet my little brothers.. all my cousins here ask for my brothers.. and well i named this blog ahoy there me hearties because when i get back to los angeles im taking my little brothers to see The Wiggles.. wooohoooo i like the wiggles tooo so im going to have tons of fun at the show... yay well ppl i gotta get going.. adios amigos.. im also practicing my spanish over here.. hasta luego. hugs and kisses to all.

HAPPY TIME!!!!

Check it out the Campbell family came to visit their California family. I got to spend some time with the Campbell family and bestest moment i got to hold Noah for a pretty long time. I love that little baby. He's SOOOOOO cute. Didnt cry at all until i mentioned how i couldnt visit as often as i would like!. But that was all. My mom finally got to meet the famous Noah Campbell because I'm always talking about him and Im always giving my mom updates on Noah and The Campbells. (i think she gets jealous, i talk about The Campbells sooo much..but what can i say they are family and i love them!!) So Noah came by my house and like i said my mom finally met him, and i bet Noah felt the love for him at my house! And then the worse happened.. the Campbells left my house.. and i was so sad i almost cried. Im so used to having them just a freeway away. But now i gotta get used the fact that they are Hours away from me! :( SAD. Looks like Tia Jessica is gonna have to start making trips into St. George so that the Campbells dont forget about me. sounds good. Nice to see you guys. And ill miss you guys!

Hello everyone.. well my name is Jessica. I have never really posted anything here because i didnt really had anything to write about here. So now i figure im going to give this blog deal a chance because i have an account. Sooo.. whats should my first blog be about?? Well first off I will be visiting my Mexican roots, i will be going on a PLANE to MEXICO (WOW) i never even been on a plane. So this is pretty extreme for my first vacation im going to travel on a plane!!..crazy im nervous and excited so Yeah ill be going in the End of February and staying there for almost ONE whole Month!! well i really dont have any pictures or anything... but i think ill share with you my best work.. a photograph I took down in VENICE beach!!...ok so apparently the picture does not want to be on the bottom. so it came out on the TOP!!
